Boat Diving Workshop
Become an asset to your friends, as well as the crew of a dive boat. This workshop is a must to any diver who ventures offshore. You will learn:

• The different categories of boats and how they handle in the water
• bilge pump usage
• how to use a VHF radio for general communication, distress calls, and emergency calls
  
• knot tying
• rules of the road and navigational markers
• tips and tricks to help seasick buddies
• using oxygen for scuba diving emergencies
• docking procedures
• navigational charts
• techniques for diving from a boat
• how to perform rescues from a dive boat, and much more!
  

Cost: Boat Workshop - $45

Prerequisites: None.

PADI Boat Diver Specialty
Learn the basics of “crewing” a boat, as well as how to dive from a boat. In this course you will:

• communicate over a VHF radio
• perform rescues and assists from the boat, review oxygen set-up
• practice docking procedures
• practice knot tying
• locate on-board oxygen, bilge pump, lifejackets
• and do two boat dives!
  

Cost of the boat varies depending on which charter is used (not included in class tuition)
