Most divers interested in exploring the Pacific Northwest eventually buy a dry suit. It’s an investment, and if cared for properly, a dry suit can last for thousands of dives. It will increase your comfort and bottom time, thereby allowing you more opportunity to observe and explore.

A Dry Suit Orientation will guide you through the process of choosing the right suit, learning how to care for, maintain, and repair it, adjusting your weighting, and helpful tips and tricks of use. A pool session includes skills that help you optimize your buoyancy control, including how to prevent feet-first ascents.

If you wish to receive instruction in the open water as well, you can enroll in the PADI Dry Suit Specialty course, which includes the Dry Suit Orientation as well as two dives with your instructor. One of your open water dives for the PADI Dry Suit Specialty course can count towards your Advanced Open Water class.

Costs:
Dry Suit Orientation & pool session - group (2 or more) $39 per person
Dry Suit Orientation & pool session - private (1 student) $49
Dry Suit Specialty Course (orientation/pool session/two dives) - group $99 per person
Dry Suit Specialty Course (orientation/pool session/two dives) - private $139
