At Pelagia Scuba, our goal is to combine adventure with superior education. In the past year we have developed several classes which, we hope, will change your diving experience. While our Fish ID and Invertebrate ID classes will open up your eyes to many things you had no idea existed, our Tides Workshop, Advanced Tides Workshop, and NW Current Diver Specialties will teach you how to master the unique conditions of the Puget Sound region.

Few things enhance your scuba diving experience like being able to identify, and know about, what you are looking at. At the end of this fun, dynamic class, you will be able to positively identify 50 of the Northwest's most common spineless species.
Do you know how to treat a stingray or urchin puncture? Seafood poisoning? Jellyfish stings? Be prepared for your next vacation in the tropics. This course might save you, your family, or your dive buddies from the discomfort caused by accidental contact with hazardous marine life.
In this workshop, you will have a brief introduction to general tide concepts and come to understand what tides are, and which ones we experience in the Puget Sound. You will learn about the daily and monthly tidal cycles to help you better plan your future dives.
