The PADI Master Scuba Diver rating is the highest certification you can achieve as a recreational non-professional diver. It is an excellent way to fine tune your scuba skills, and lets dive operators know that you are an accomplished diver.

To attain this rating you will need:
  • PADI Open Water Diver certification (or qualifying certification from another organization)
  • PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification (or qualifying certification from another organization)
  • PADI Rescue Diver certification (or qualifying certification from another organization)
  • 50 logged dives
  • Five PADI Specialty course certifications

The minimum age for this course is 15 (divers age 12-14 can obtain the Junior Master Scuba Diver rating).
