The PADI Discover Snorkeling class helps you master techniques that will give you the confidence needed to explore the underwater world on your next vacation or here in the Puget Sound..
In a brief classroom session we will address:
- Three different types of snorkeling
- Equipment selection and use
- Exposure protection
- Snorkeling techniques
- Marine life, marine stings, and the underwater environment
Next, we'll hop into the heated pool to practice:
- Snorkel breathing and clearing
- Buddy team snorkeling
- Kicking techniques
- Surface diving (skin diving) and displacement snorkel clearing
- Giant stride and back roll entries
