Underwater Photography Workshop

Taking pictures underwater opens up a whole new aspect of the underwater world to a diver. You will look at fish, invertebrates, and other divers with fresh eyes and an artistic perspective. Learning to use a camera underwater can be overwhelming at first. This workshop introduces you to the world of digital photography and teaches you about:

• the several cameras, housings, and accessories on the market
• understanding how digital imaging works
• processing digital photos at home
• buoyancy control and shooting underwater
• strategies for shooting underwater

Prerequisites: None.

PADI Underwater Photography Specialty

Put what you have learned in the photography workshop to the test! First, we will practice in the pool taking pictures of various staged objects. Next, we will go to the Sound for two dives focusing on buoyancy, shooting strategies, and general practice.

Cost: PADI Underwater Photography Specialty - $99.
Prerequisites: Open Water Certification, Photography Workshop.
